The Library Corner
A cozy corner, a silent bubble in this ever-moving world, a space to disconnect and get inspired with a good book and tea, overlooking the garden.
The Coworking Place
A study room with the option to enjoy coffee and snacks. Here, big ideas mix with board games! Private spaces are also planned in the layout.
The Countryside Café
Wooden tables, family benches with a view on a small garden accessible in summer—ideal for breakfast, lunch, or tea in a jovial atmosphere.
The Children's Area
A secure zone with wooden toys, chairs, low tables, paper, and joy for families' comfort. Associations supporting parents and children will gather here.

About Me
Currently working solo on the project, my name is Elodie. I'm 33 years old, a Sartrouville resident by choice, and I've fallen in love with my neighborhood, Vieux-Pays. However, I feel the city still lacks warm gathering spots for residents.lecafedesecuries.fr
I've embraced this neighborhood for 10 years now—married here, made friends, raising my daughter, and dreaming of a place of kindness for all residents, young and old, open all day
I envision a bucolic corner surrounded by flowers to eat, drink, and brighten your day; a boudoir space to get inspired by books and write your life; a soundproof area to rethink the world in groups; and a secure corner for all moms needing a break over tea or coffee.
This desire stems from my daily life—having struggled with motherhood during COVID, finding myself traveling to Maisons-Laffitte or Paris to enjoy a pause with friends or experience the cozy and playful atmospheres of expanding child-friendly cafés, and spending time in the Parc du Dispensaire whenever the weather allows.
As you can tell, it's the concept of a café/flower shop/ceramics workshop/community space—a lovely crisis of the thirties that aims to see a space bloom that we all need when we shouldn't stay alone at home.
PS: Sartrouville has nearly 52,000 residents, and the housing developments on Avenue Berteaux will increase this number, so the idea of a café isn't such a crazy one!
